Leah Ariniello is a freelance journalist based near Washington D.C. who writes about what she loves— health, science, wellness, fitness, family and fun.
She has written for a number of media outlets during the past 15 years, including The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The New York Times’ parenting blog, Motherlode. Leah has also written for non-profits, such as The Society for Neuroscience and The University of Pennsylvania’s Medical School. In addition, she conceptualized and wrote a wellness column, Follow the Leader, for Bethesda Magazine, a regional publication based in Maryland where she lives with her husband and two children.
Leah earned a journalism degree with a pre-med concentration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst as well as a master’s in science journalism from Boston University.
